Kundasang & Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort

Day 1 – Kota Kinabalu – Nabalu – Desa Farm

Meet and pick up at airport upon arrival and travel north traversing across the Crocker range for about 2 hours to the base of Mt. Kinabalu. The mountain stands at 13,435ft (4095 meters) and is the highest mountain between the Himalayas and New Guinea. En-route we stop by Nabalu Village for a chance to mingle with the native Dusun villagers. Learn more about their life from the produce they sell such as local fruits and handicrafts. Later, proceed to Desa dairy Cow Farm located in Kundasang area whereby it earn the name ( New Zealand of Borneo ), we can learn how milk are process and we can feed the cattle as well. After the cow farm, we will stop a while at Kundasang market whereby we can buy some fruits and local handicraft there. Check in to Pine Resort. Dinner will be served at Kinabalu Pine Resort.

Day 2 – Kinabalu Park + Poring Hot Spring

Breakfast will be served at Pine Restaurant.
A visit to Kinabalu Park will never be perfect without swinging by Poring Hot Springs. Situated 40 kilometers (25 miles) slightly northeast from the Parks HQ, Poring is located in the lowlands—a contrast to the Parks HQ. De-stress and soak away the sores and aches of your muscles in the spring’s hot sulphuric minerals, deemed to have healing properties and very popular among the locals. Other than the natural hot spring main attraction at Poring Hot Springs, there are also other interesting areas in the park to be visited such as the butterfly farm, the Poring Orchid Conservation Centre, the tropical garden, the Poring canopy walkway, and the Rafflesia flower site. Transfer to Shangri-la’s Rasa Ria Resort for check in.Dinner will be served at Sampan Bar.

Day 3 – Free & Easy

Today, free and easy at the resort or enjoy the resort facilities. Tonight, enjoy a romantic Gazebo Dinner. Gazebos situated strategically on the white sandy beach just outside Coast restaurant with a spectacular view of the famous Borneo sunset. Come at 5:30pm for some cocktails just in time to enjoy the beautiful sunset around 6.15pm. There will be a butler to assist and serve throughout the evening.

Day 4 – Free & Easy (Spa / photo shooting day)

Free at own leisure.
Enjoy hotel spa facilities at The Spa Rasa Ria Resort – The Romantic Journey, find the inner peace and harmony between two souls. The retreat for two combines our popular chamomile full body scrub, fragrant rose petal boath soak for two finishing with a couples aromatherapy massage. Optional: Photo shooting Day (Include local lunch)

Day 5 – City Tour & Airport

After check out, visit the handicraft market previously known as Filipino market to grab some souvenir for your love ones. Proceed to Signal Hill, the highest point in the city, is one of the best places to get a good view of Kota Kinabalu. Later, transfer to airports for flights back home.
